Lottie Lorene Fancher Flaugher, age 91, of Fenton formerly of Miller County, passed away on October 8, 2013, at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley in Fenton. She was born in Waynesville on July 10, 1922, daughter of the late William M. and Laura B. Fancher.

In 1939, Lottie married Jacob H. Clark, who was a veteran of WWII and served with the US Army at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii near the end of WWII from 1944 to 1945. They were united in marriage for 31 years until Jacob passed away in 1970.

In 1971 Lorene married Lloyd Flaugher who farmed along Humphrey Creek in Miller County. In 1985 the couple sold the Humphrey Creek farm and moved to Eldon. They were united in marriage for 34 years until Lloyd passed away in 2005.

Lorene loved fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting, and "picking greens", and she did them all with a passion.
She was dedicated to her church, the First Church of the Nazarene of Eldon.

Jake and Lorene's marriage produced three surviving children, Thomas W. and Priscilla Clark of High Ridge, Mo., Gracie and Jim Taylor of Malone, Florida, and Jacob E. "Eddie" Clark of Kansas City, Mo.

Lloyd and Lorene's marriage combined Lloyds four children, Rosemary Colbard of Greensborough, NC., Donald (deceased) and Barbara Flaugher of Grand Praire, Tx., Anita and Randy Rowden of Iberia, Mo. and Jimmy (deceased) and Kelley Flaugher of California, Mo.

Lottie Lorene Fancher Flaugher was the last surviving child in a family of thirteen, and was preceded in death by her parents William M. and Laura B. Fancher, eight sisters; Opal Brockus, Maude Clark, Agnes Walters, Althabell Hedrick, Grace Walters, Lucy Sullivan., Dorothy Landreth, and Helen; and two brothers; William "Bud" Fancher and Charles E. "Eddy" Fancher.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, at Eldon First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Jerry Fry will officiate. Interment will be in Capps Cemetery near St. Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Capps Cemetery.
