Lou E. Russell, age 73, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.  She was born in Broseley, Missouri, on March 4, 1948, daughter of the late Alvester and Mae (Troller) Lawrence.  In 1982 down in Texas, Lou was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Russell, who survives at their home.

Lou was a loving wife and mother with a deep-rooted Christian faith.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is also survived by four sons, Scott (Kim) Russell of Arkansas, Mark (Kelly Bowers) Bauridl, Kipp (Dana) Bauridl of Jefferson City, and Gene (Lisa) Russell of Eldon; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five siblings, Carol Albright, Vester Lawrence, Shirley Forsythe, Margie Lawrence, and Terry Lawrence; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Billy Lawrence, Donnie Lawrence, Violet Shepard, and DeWayne Lawrence.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Pastor Terry Lawrence officiating.  Interment will be held in Freedom Cemetery near Dixon.
