Louevenia Davenport, age 88, of Brumley, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Osage Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Miller County on February 8, 1925, daughter of the late Sylvester and Celia (Duncan) Reinhart. On September 30, 1943, in Brumley, Louevenia married Virgil Davenport, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1993.
Louevenia was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ in Brumley.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Davenport and wife Betty of Brumley and Steve Davenport of Salina, Kansas; one daughter, Jane Schwegler and husband Buel of Waynesville; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Davenport, two grandchildren, eight sisters, and one brother.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley. Bro. Paul Fisher will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
