Lowell Curtis Cross, age 72, of Dixon, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was born in Pulaski County on April 20, 1946, son of the late Vasca and Mildred (Tibbs) Cross. On September 10, 1980, in Tuscumbia, Lowell married Jeanette Barnett, who survives at their home.

Lowell honorably served during the Vietnam War in the United States Army Airborne Infantry. Lowell was a life-time cattle farmer in the surrounding area and enjoyed going to farm machinery auctions and was a connoisseur of tractors and an expert mechanic.

In addition to his loving wife, Jeanette, he is also survived by his sister, Wanda Cross of Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leroy Cross.

A private service will be held at a later date.
