Lyla May Robinett, age 68, of Brumley passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at her home. She was born in Richland on February 17, 1950, daughter of the late James and Sibyl Zay (Allee) Wright. On March 6, 1965, in Crocker, Lyla married Chester Robinett, who survives at their home.
Lyla was a talented artist and a lovely singer. She attended Church of Christ and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her loving husband, Chester Robinett, she is also survived by seven children, Chad Robinett of Brumley, Christy Swires of Gilliam, Chuck Robinett of Lake Ozark, Michael Robinett of Brumley, Charles Robinett of Brumley, Matthew Robinett of Camdenton, and Mitchell Robinett of Camdenton; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jess and Jerry Wright; eight sisters, Irene, Lily, Patsy, Pansy, Twyla, Corene, Florene, and Darlene; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chester Dean Robinett; two brothers, Jimmy and Joe Wright; and one sister, Imogene Davis.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
