Mable D. Hamilton, age 90, of Union, formerly of St. Elizabeth, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Sunset Health Care in Union. She was born in Alton, Illinois, on October 17, 1918, daughter of John L. and Dulcie E. (Cason) Marrow. On October 12, 1940, in St. Louis, she married Stanley W. Hamilton, who preceded her in death on August 27, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley "Sonny" Hamilton of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ted Hamilton of Godfrey, Illinois; two daughters, Barbara Traiteur of Catawissa and Ann Faragher of St. Clair; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Johnny, Henry, and William Marrow.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, November 3, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Interment will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 A.M. on Monday, November 3, at the funeral home.
