Mable Emogene Wilson, age 90, of Iberia, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born on January 14, 1921, daughter of the late Elmer and Bertie (Burnham) Blankenship. On October 31, 1942, in Tuscumbia, Mable married Jewel Herbert Wilson, who preceded her in death on August 24, 1983.
Mable was a member of the Mt. Gilead Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ernie Wilson and wife Shirley of Iberia and Jim Wilson and wife Sandy of Eldon; one daughter, Judy Blankenship and husband Floyd of Iberia; eight grandsons, ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Nina Pendleton of Dixon; and one brother, Bill Blankenship of Iberia.
She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Edith Williams, Lorene Epperson, and Clay Blankenship.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., with services immediately following at 3:00 P.M., on Monday, April 25, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Oscar Barrickman will officiate. Interment will be in Pankey Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Charity of Donors Choice.
