Marcella "Sally" Herigon, age 92, of Jefferson City, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Biehle on June 17, 1921, daughter of the late Bernard Henry and Julie (Buchheit) Wibbenmeyer. On May 29, 1943, in Biehle, she married Raymond Herigon, who survives at the home.

Marcella was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and currently attended St. Martin Catholic Church.

She is also survived by 11 children, Carol Pendleton and husband Carthel of Columbia, Patricia Luebbering and husband Andy of St. Thomas, Jerry Herigon and wife Pat of Jefferson City, Dorothy Fenton and husband Bill of Harrisburg, Thomas Herigon and wife Dianne of Jefferson City, Dale Herigon and wife Marilyn of St. Thomas, Dave Herigon and wife Linda of Iberia, Grace Schwartz and husband Larry of Freeburg, Jeff Herigon and wife Barbara of Bonnots Mill, Charlie Herigon of Taos, and Doug Herigon and wife Kathy of Lohman; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Othmar Wibbenmeyer of Perryville and Donald Wibbenmeyer of Florissant.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Veronica Herigon, two sisters, seven brothers, and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 a.m., on Monday, January 13, 2014, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in St. Thomas. Fr. Jeremy Secrist will officiate.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
