Margaret Yvonne "June" Brown, age 80, of Crocker, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the St. Elizabeth Care Center. She was born in Martinez, California, on June 12, 1938, daughter of the late Art and Charlcie (Lowrance) Gott. She was united in marriage on September 1, 1956, to Doyle Brown at the Crocker Christian Church. Doyle preceded her in death on March 11, 2011.

June was baptized into Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of her sins on July 4, 1948, at the Central Church of Christ in Martinez, California and moved to Missouri when she was 13 years old. June was an active member of the Crocker Christian Church and later attended Christ Mission Church in St. Robert, where her son preached. As her health failed, she returned to the Crocker Christian Church. June loved to decorate her house, sew, and spend time with her grandkids.

She is survived by six children, Cindy Shivers and husband Randy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeff Brown and wife Mary of Devils Elbow, Heather Cooke and husband Todd of Web City, Tressie Facculyn-Gous and husband Derek of Mason City, Iowa, Nathan Brown of Iberia, and Katy Bemo and husband Nathan of Carl Junction; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Pengelly; two brothers, Gene Gott and Kenny Gott; and one sister-in-law, Jamie Gott.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Swedeborg with Randy Shivers officiating.
