Marjorie Faye Forbis, age 67, of Iberia, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Tuscumbia on July 29, 1943, daughter of the late Noel and Leona (Morrow) Robinett. On July 12, 1965, in Tuscumbia, Marjorie married Ralph Forbis, who survives at the home.
She worked for over 15 years as a Executive Housekeeper at Holiday Inn in Lake Ozark. She also worked for nine years at Tan-Tar-A and 11 years at Knolls Condominium where she retired in 2008. Marjorie was a member of the Rodden Church of Christ.
She is also survived by two daughters, Tina Russell and Joe Carington of Iberia and Tammy Ash and husband Ronnie of Brumley; six grandchildren, Gail Russell and wife Theresa of Iberia, Tad Russell of Iberia, Christina Yother and husband Cody of Brumley, Darin Ash and wife Crystal of Brumley, Mindie Ash of Brumley, and Jennifer Pritchett of Brumley; eight great-grandchildren, Layne Russell of St. Elizabeth, Ambrosia Russell of Iberia, Aarrian Pritchett of Brumley, Drake Yother of Brumely, Nevaeh Russell of Iberia, Robert Russell of Iberia, Mason Yother of Brumley, and Vivian Ash of Brumley; one brother, Leslie Robinett of Moberly; and five sisters, Mary Barnhart of Iberia, Alice Ash of Iberia, Debbie Davenport of Ulman, June Kaiser of Brumley, and Cindy Colvin of Iberia.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty English.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Monday, April 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Dennis Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery near Iberia.
