Obituary
Marshall B. Ripka, age 76, of Meta, died Friday, August 29, 2008, on the family farm. He was born in Meta on February 5, 1932, son of Willard H. and Nora (Fitzpatrick) Ripka. On May 18, 1952, in Eldon, he was married to Mary Lou West, who survives at the home.
He had been a member of Tuscumbia Christian Church since 1995.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, at Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. Rev. Bob Hamm will officiate. Interment will be in Southside Cemetery near Meta.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Tuscumbia Christian Church Building Fund.
