Martina Agnes Goeller, age 84, of St. Anthony, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. She was born in Mary's Home on February 27, 1933, daughter of the late Conrad and Anna (Kirkweg) Evers. On April 16, 1955 in Mary's Home, Martina married Bernard "Ben" Louis Goeller, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1974.
Martina was a member of several organizations including St. Anthony Senior Citizens Club, Sunshine Gals, Oats Bus, and a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony.
She is survived by four children, Andrew Goeller (Jeanette) of St. Thomas, Marie Allen of Eldon, Cathy Hood (Mel) of Niangua, and Jeanette Schroeder (Cordell) of Meta; 13 grandchildren, Kenny Allen, Julie Carr, Rodger Allen, Marsha Alexander, Willie Ben Allen, Scottie Allen, Darrell Allen, Curt Goeller, Lori Libbert, Cody Goeller, Ben Schroeder, Henry Schroeder, and Annaline Schroeder, 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Evers of Mary's Home, Bernard Evers of Eldon, and Sylvester Evers of Mary's Home; and one sister, Anna Marie Braun of Osage Bend.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Frank Goeller; her son-in-law, Don Allen; one brother, Ilde Evers; and an infant child.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony with Fr. Jeremy Secrist officiating. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, February 20, at the St. Anthony Parish Hall.
