Marvin Dale Nixdorf, age 62, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Iberia, on November 26, 1961, son of the late Bobby Eugene and Rayma Jean (Sooter) Nixdorf.  On October 15, 1983, Marvin was united in marriage to Kelly Lee Rodgers, who survives at their home.

Marvin owned and operated Nixdorf Lawn Care since its establishment in 1990.   He took great pride in his farm and enjoyed caring for his cattle. He loved his family and cherished the memories they have made throughout the years.  Marvin was a faithful life-long member of Fairview Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, Kelly Nixdorf, he is also survived by three sons, Bobby Dale (Melanie) Nixdorf, Daniel Lee (Amanda) Nixdorf, and Mark (Brittany) Nixdorf; five grandchildren, Joseph Nixdorf, Chloe Witt, Heston Nixdorf, Millie Nixdorf, and Mackenzie Nixdorf; one great-granddaughter, Nova Beach; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Rayma Nixdorf, and three brothers, Bobby Nixdorf, Michael Nixdorf, and Brian Nixdorf.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Fairview Christian Church in Iberia with Randy Stohs officiating.  Interment will be held in Livingston Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Livingston Cemetery.
