Mary Ellen Emmerich, age 75, of Brumley, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  She was born in Brumley on March 23, 1947, daughter of the late Porter and Zella (Moss) Rodden.  In 1964, Mary was united in marriage to James "Jimmy" Emmerich, who preceded her in death on October 4, 2017.

Mary welcomed the company of her family and friends and was blessed with countless memories throughout the years.  She was a faithful member of Glover Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children, Ragenia Smith of Eldon and James Shannon Emmerich of Brumley; ten grandchildren, Trish, Rodney, Cody, Chrissy, Paul, Donnie, Micah, Lilly, Destinie, and Brooklyn Hendricks; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Grace, Paige, Christina, Rachel, Matthew, Andie, Henry, Lacy, John, and Jamie; three great-great-grandchildren, Harper, Payton, and Mackenzie; five brothers, Howard, Melnore, Gary, Dan, and Mark Rodden; sister, Sandra Corroll; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah; brother, Henry Mack Rodden; three nephews, Todd, David, and Johnny; and niece, Paula.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Tim Humphrey officiating.  Interment will be held in Robinett Cemetery in Brumley.
