Megan LeAnn Meredith, age 23, of Iberia, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born in Jefferson City on November 27, 1988, daughter of Mark David and Carol Ann (Abbett) Meredith.

Megan was a 2007 graduate of Iberia R-V. She recently completed her course work at Lincoln University School of Nursing and would have graduated on December 9, 201l, and been employed as a Registered Nurse at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Megan was a member of Concord Christian Church in Crocker.

She is survived by her parents, Mark and Carol Meredith of Iberia; one brother, Dustin Meredith and wife Christy of Iberia; one niece, Tenley Meredith of Iberia; her fiancé, Andrew Lowe IV of Crocker; paternal grandparents, Gene and Glotha Meredith of Iberia; maternal grandparents, Joyce and Don Burd of Iberia and Kenny and Kathy Abbett of Tuscumbia; and her aunts and uncles, Rod and Jeannie Neuman of Iberia, Kim Abbett of Iberia, and Kenny and Melanie Abbett of Iberia.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Lee Todd will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
