Miah Brooks Holtmeyer, age 5 days, passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Women's and Children's Hospital in Columbia surrounded by her family.  Miah was born to Matt and Whitney (Baker) Holtmeyer at 12:23 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

Miah was baptized in the Catholic faith on August 9, 2019.

In addition to her loving parents, she is also survived by her brother, Grayson and sister, Landry, both of the home; maternal grandparents, Ricky and Lisa Baker of Iberia; paternal grandmother, Dianne Holtmeyer of St. Elizabeth; great-grandparents, Jerry Baker, Sharon Ricker, and Richard "Buck" Prather; four aunts, Kayla Ray, Tiffany Baker, Alex Baker, and Peyton Baker; cousins, Khloe, Reese, and Catherine "Cat"; and numerous aunts, uncles, and family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joel Allen Holtmeyer, uncle, Brooks Baker, great-grandparents, Kathern Prather, Hirsty Ricker, John and Lorraine Luebbert, and Frank and Ruby Holtmeyer.

A private family graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 12, at St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth with Fr. Joby Thomas officiating.
