Michael "Mike" Alvin Pendleton, age 74, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.  He was born in Tuscumbia on October 27, 1949, son of the late Harold Alvin and Lillie Dorane (Ahart) Pendleton.  On June 21, 1980, at Tuscumbia Christian Church, Mike was united in marriage to Lynette Abbett, who survives at their home.

Mike served in the U.S. Marines with the 12th Marines 3rd Marine Division during the Vietnam War from November 19, 1969, until his honorable discharge on November 12, 1971, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.

He was a talented carpenter and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.   Mike was employed with Prost Builders in Jefferson City for over 30 years, retiring in 2007.

In addition to his loving wife, Lynn, he is also survived by his two sons, Brett (Chelsea) Pendleton of St. Elizabeth and Bart (Chelsea) Pendleton of Ulman; three grandchildren, Bennett, Brooklyn, and Olivia; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lillie Pendleton and sister, Diana Pendleton.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Tuscumbia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
