Michael L. Barnett, age 46, of Eldon, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his home.  He was born in Tuscumbia on October 19, 1978, son of Dale Barnett and Debbie (Baker) Barnett.

Michael was employed at the Eldon Golf Club and later was employed with Capital Hauling as a truck driver.

His family will remember his kind-heart and his cheerful humor.  He was a loving father and devoted son who found great pleasure in golfing and fishing.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and taking rides on his motorcycle.  Michael was quite handy and could fix just about anything that needed repairing.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially with his cherished granddaughter, Rilah.

He is survived by his son, Jordan Barnett and wife Asia; granddaughter, Rilah Barnett; father, Dale Barnett; mother, Debbie Barnett; sister, Kim (Dale) Hoffman; best friend, Susan Barnett; niece and nephew, Chelsae Minnick and Devin Hoffman; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wayne and Jean Barnett of Iberia and maternal grandparents, Willard and Virginia Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Briarwood Hills, 134 Cajun Drive, Iberia, MO 65486.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Michael Barnett Memorial Fund.
