Michael Steven Landreth, age 48, of Jefferson City formerly of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015, at his home. He was born in Tuscumbia on October 22, 1966, son of the late Fred and Dorothy Marie (Fancher) Coleson Landreth. On February 9, 1985, in Tuscumbia, Michael married Melinda June Limberg, who survives at the home.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and fabricating knives. He loved working as an excavator operating heavy equipment machinery. Michael previously attended Curry Church near Iberia.
In addition to his wife, Melinda, he is survived by two sons, Justin Michael Landreth and wife Tina of St. Elizabeth and Dakota Robert Landreth of Jefferson City; one daughter, Blaze Chantalle Landreth of Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Whitney Sweet; four sisters, Doris "Jeannie" Robinett, Geri Bash, Vera Woods, and Becky Henson; and four brothers, Bob Landreth, Lohman "Ozzie" Landreth, Tom Landreth, and Fred "Dutch" Norman Landreth.
He was preceded in death by one son, Cody Landreth; two sisters, Joyce "Doodle" Duncan and Genevieve Beal; and one infant brother, David Landreth.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 p.m., on Friday, August 28, at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Brumley. Bro. Virgil Dennis will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Ulman.
