Michael "Mike" Louis Russell, age 49, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his home.  He was born in Tuscumbia on August 4, 1975, the son of Daniel and Wanda (Wall) Russell.  On June 13, 2023, in Henderson, Kentucky, Mike was united in marriage to Angie Russell, who survives at their home.

Mike was a 1994 graduate of Iberia High School.  Following high school, he earned a degree in heavy equipment operations from Linn Tech.    He had a strong work ethic and dedicated much of his professional life to being an over-the-road truck driver, traveling countless miles on the open road.  Before his move to Indiana, Mike was employed with APAC Asphalt Company and later for Patterson Trucking.  He was most recently employed at Reagent Chemical Company.

In addition to his loving wife, Angie Russell, he is also survived by his parents, Dan and Wanda Russell of Iberia; son Isaac; daughter, Katie; stepchildren, Joshua Stierley and Morgan (Caleb) Mathers; step-grandchild, Campbell; brother, Chris Russell and wife Lauren; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Bethany, Kevin, Monica, Grayson, and Hadley; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Saturday, June 7, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Henry Shelly officiating.  Interment will be held in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.
