Mildred E. Bielecki, age 86, of Meta, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, in Jefferson City at Adam's Street Place with her family at her side. She was born in Meta on November 15, 1930, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Linnenbrink) Koerber. On October 17, 1953, in Meta, Mildred married Andrew Bielecki, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2016.

Mildred and her husband, Andrew, owned and operated Bielecki's Grocery in Meta. Throughout her life, Mildred was kind, loving, and generous to others. She made over 24,000 rosaries for Catholic Missions and over 200 blankets for Afghans for Angels.

Mildred was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta.

She is survived by three children, Ron Bielecki and wife Sue of Jefferson City, Tamra Bowman and husband Don of Charleston, South Carolina, and Melinda McVay and husband Paul of Warrensburg; four grandchildren, Matthew Bielecki, Lauren Bielecki, Kimberly Kleindienst, and Shane Bowman; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jerome Koerber of Overland.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Koerber and one sister, Marie Borgmeyer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Fr. Jeremy Secrist will officiate. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery in Meta.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 4 p.m., on Monday, May 1, at the church.
