Mildred McComb, age 63, of Brumley, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Richland on January 29, 1944, daughter of Charles and Florence (Newell) Durham. On December 17, 1960, in Swedeborg, she was married to Charles Wayne McComb, who preceded her in death on July 29, 2001.

She was a member of Light House Baptist Church near Brumley.

Survivors include two sons, Carl McComb and wife Sherry of Brumley, and Michael McComb and Lacey Whittle of Brumley; one daughter, Patty Duncan and Scott Duncan of Iberia; one brother, Stanley Durham of Richland; three sisters, Dola Barton of Clarence, Imogene Nivens of Lebanon, and Sue Luttrell of Eldon; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four sons, Ricky, Darrell, Roger, and Steve McComb.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Dennis Nichols and Rick Morrow will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
