Mildred Louise Polly, age 79, of Eldon, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Miller County on April 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Herbert and Edith (Beard) Bunch. On January 25, 1947, in Union, she was married to Robert Polly who preceded her in death on July 10, 2000.

A homemaker, she was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.

Those who survive her include: two sons, Ray Polly and wife Mary of Boliver, Ron Polly and wife Karen of New Haven; two daughters, Phyllis Wood and husband Tony of Eldon and Mary Malich and husband Ed of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Fay Conner of Eldon; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Bro. Eddie Teal will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery near Eldon.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
