Mindy Elaine (Warman) Plemmons, age 42, of Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Marshfield Care Center.  She was born in Springfield on May 2, 1979, daughter of Gregory and Joann (Younes) Warman.  On August 9, 1997, in Dixon, Mindy was united in marriage to Ron Plemmons, who survives at their home.   Two sons were born to this union.

Mindy grew up in Dixon, where she was a member of the class of 1997.  Before her illness, Mindy was actively involved in the Marshfield United Methodist Church.

Mindy was a loving and nurturing person who loved her family. She had a beautiful smile and loads of energy.  Mindy was a loving wife and mother.  She treasured her sons and enjoyed watching them participate in school activities.  Mindy was a Marshfield Blue Jay fan and loved watching the football, wrestling, and track events.

In addition to her husband, Ron Plemmons, she is also survived by two sons, Travin Plemmons and Tanner Plemmons both of Marshfield; future daughter-in-law, Shaelea DeCamp of Marshfield; mother, Joann Warman of Marshfield; brother, Clinton Warman of Springfield; mother-in-law, Janet (Junior) Darr; father-in-law, Gary Plemmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Greg Warman; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Barbara Warman; maternal grandparents, Kirby and Jean Younes; and one cousin, Chris Younes.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, November 23, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Pastor Gary Griffin officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to a college fund for Mindy's sons.
