Natasha Renee (Neuman) Ponder, age 40, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.  She was born in Osage Beach on March 11, 1982, daughter of Steve Neuman and Starla (Cochran) Schulte.  On October 3, 2020, Natasha was united in marriage to the love of her life, Tony Ponder, who survives at their home.

Natasha was a 2000 graduate of Iberia R-V.  She was currently employed as assistant director for Miller County Sheriff's Department as a dispatch operator, assisting countless individuals in their time of need throughout her years of service.   She possessed a selfless nature and continually put everyone else and their needs before her own.

Natasha's family were the greatest joys of her life, especially her nieces and nephew, Ashlyn, Olivia, and Gus, who she loved unconditionally.  In addition to playing cards and taking shopping trips, Natasha also loved hosting and cooking for family gatherings.  Her contagious smile and gentle personality allowed her to connect easily with others, forming lasting friendships.

In addition to her husband, Tony Ponder, she is also survived by her mother, Starla (Richard) Schulte; four stepchildren, Matt (Danielle) Ponder, Brittany (Cody) Ponder, Jake (Haley) Ponder, and Nick (Livey) Ponder; two brothers, Quentin (Casey) Neuman and Brandon (Amber) Schulte; three sisters, Dana (Brian) Scheppers, Erica (Evan) Brown, and Justine Schulte; maternal grandmother, Betty Cochran; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Neuman and grandparents, Buster Cochran, Bill and Martha Neuman.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Brandon Kissinger officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Union Cemetery in Brumley.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, December 1, at the funeral home.
