Nina Mae Shelton, age 82, of Buffalo formerly of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at her home. She was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on May 14, 1933, daughter of the late Norman and Cleo (Long) Gardner. On June 14, 1949, in Salem, Arkansas, Nina married Harold Eugene Shelton, who preceded her in death on November 12, 1998.

Throughout her life Nina was dedicated to her family and God. She was a member of Elkland Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Allen Shelton and Rickey Lynn Shelton both of Buffalo; two daughters, Lesia Ann Hessee of Buffalo and Donna Marie Davenport of Hollister, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and other siblings, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, October 16, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Ernie Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
