Norma Lea Miller-Campbell, age 89, peacefully entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior at 12:26 a.m. on February 12, 2026, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri, surrounded by her devoted family.

Norma was born on September 2, 1936, to Norman and Cleo Gardner. She built her life on faith, family, and service. On November 23, 1954, she married Rev. James Edward Miller. Together they shared a devoted marriage until his passing on August 13, 1995. On January 15, 1998, she was united in marriage to Rev. Robert Campbell of Potosi, Missouri. They remained faithfully by one another’s side until his passing on September 15, 2007.

Norma’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her children: Laurie (Thomas) Jackson; Patricia (Larry) Heath of Granite City, Illinois; Mark (Stephanie) Miller of Freeburg, Illinois; and Ernest (Trina) Miller of Iberia, Missouri. She leaves behind a treasured legacy in her grandchildren: LeAnn McKeal, Stephen Jackson, Michael W. Heath, Michaela (Andy) Banister, Alex (Macella) Miller, Elizabeth (Josh) Baker, and James (Yesica) Miller; and her great-grandchildren, Lauren & Aaron McKeal, Blake Jackson, Michael Jr and Justin Heath, Levi & Olivia Banister, Elias & Joah Miller, Jayce Garcia, David & Isabella Miller.

She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jane Shelton and Donna Morris; her brothers-in-law, Donald Miller and Jack (Alicia) Miller; and her beloved stepchildren, Stephen (Kim) Campbell, Debra Pruett, Edward (Minda) Campbell, John Campbell, Mary (Michael) Pruett, Carol (Ken) Blackwell, Hazel (Gary) Leggans, Michael (Angel) Campbell, Richard Campbell, and Jarvis Medlock, husband of the late Doris Campbell, along with many cherished grandchildren and extended family members on the Campbell side.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Norman Gardner Jr., Bill Gardner, Nina Shelton, and Eloise Teagel.

Norma was a lifelong member of Bethel Chapel in Granite City, Illinois, where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher and school bus captain, touching countless young lives with her warmth and dedication. She was also a devoted member of Full Gospel Ministries Tabernacle in Iberia, Missouri.

A homemaker at heart, Norma expressed her love through hospitality. Her kitchen was a gathering place, and she was especially known for her comforting chicken and dumplings and her irresistible chocolate chip cookies. Yet beyond her cooking, Norma will be remembered most as a prayer warrior. Each day she faithfully lifted up family, friends, and countless others in prayer—calling many by name before the Lord. Her faith was unwavering, her spirit gentle, and her love abundant.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Bethel Chapel in Granite City, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Bethel Chapel.

A second visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia, Missouri. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, for procession to Iberia Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Chapel, 2445 Ohio Avenue, Granite City, Illinois 62040, or to Full Gospel Ministries Tabernacle, 801 High Street, Iberia, Missouri 65486.

Norma’s life was a testimony of faith, devotion, and quiet strength. Her prayers, her love, and her legacy will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
