Obituary
Odellia C. Struemph, age 84, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in St. Elizabeth on July 15, 1932, daughter of the late William and Martha (Koehne) Struemph.
Odellia or as her family and friends called her "Dellia" or "Oddie", lived most of her life with her mother and father on the family farm near St. Elizabeth. She loved helping in the garden and attending to the farm duties.
Odellia was a member of St. Ann's Sodality and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
She is survived by two brothers, Francis Struemph and wife Dolores of St. Elizabeth and John Struemph and wife Mary of Jefferson City; one sister, Mary Ann Clevenger and husband Ralph of Pleasant Hill; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family & friends.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Johnson, Virginia Beach, and Ludmilla Kliethermes.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 20, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Fr. Joby Thomas will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Lawrence Cemetery.
