Offie Jean (Ash) DeClue, age 79, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at her home. She was born in Brumley on October 4, 1936, daughter of the late Otto and Cretia (Robinett) Ash. On October 11, 1969, in Iberia, Offie married Delmar DeClue, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1992.

Offie was an avid gardener and she enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was baptized at Robinett Church of Christ and was a member of Tuscumbia First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two grandsons, Nathaniel Rowden and wife Amber of Iberia and Jonathan Rowden and wife Alicia of Iowa; two granddaughters, Brandy Kaus and husband Isaac of Lebanon and Rachel Imperato and husband Joey of Iberia; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, LouDean Brown; one brother, Leman Ash; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Victoria Rowden; one sister, and four brothers.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 1 p.m., at Rodden Church of Christ, on Friday, May 6. Johnnie Rowden will officiate. A graveside service will follow in Robinett Cemetery.
