Pamela Jeanne Hendricks, age 41, of Meta, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at her home. She was born in Jefferson City on February 18, 1966, daughter of David and Gertrude (Handing) Hendricks. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives at the home.
She worked at the St. Elizabeth Care Center as a nursing assistant and was devoted to the residents there. She was also devoted to her family.
Other survivors include three sisters, Shari Finnigan and fiancé, Wayne Cook of St. James, Kateena Hill and husband, Tommy of Savannah, Georgia, and Cheryl Basiger and husband, Dale of Meta; her paternal grandmother, Veronica Hendricks of Meta; five nieces and nephews, Jessica Hendricks, Kendall Hendricks, Jacob Hendricks, Taylor Basiger, and David Basiger; and one great-niece, Krista Hendricks.
She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Eugene Hendricks; her maternal grandparents, Henry and Elizabeth Handing; and one brother-in-law, Ralph Finnigan.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. Eulogist Dale Basiger will officiate. Interment will be in Southside Cemetery near Meta.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
