Patrick C. Smoot, age 62, of Brumley, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at his home. He was born in Granite City, Illinois, on April 1, 1957, son of the late Franklin and Elenora Isabelle (Carson) Smoot.

Patrick had a successful career as a chef working for several restaurants and worked several years in construction in the Lake Ozark area.

He is survived by three siblings, Joseph Smoot (Kathy) of Brumley, Rita Smoot of Brumley, and Ted Smoot II (Linda) of Brumley; eight nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Ann, Jeremy, Tony, Jonathan, Kelli, Andrew, Nathaniel, and Sydney; seven great-nieces and nephews; and several family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Elenora Smoot and sister, Lisa Gray.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
