Paul R. Madden, age 46, of Lake Ozark, passed away Friday, May 12, 2006, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born in Davenport, Iowa on January 14, 1960, a son of the late Roy and Elaine (Fredricks) Madden. On October 26, 1996, in Lake Ozark he was married to Patty Sue Wilson, who survives at the home.
Paul graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa and received his Masters Degree in Human Resource Development from Webster College in St. Louis. He served in the military branch of the Army for 12 years retiring as a drill sergeant at Fort Leonard Wood. He will be remembered as someone who loved his family, grandchildren and animals and to ride his Harley. Paul had a big heart and was loved by so many.
Others who survive him include: one son, Shane Higgins; one daughter, Sara Snodderley and husband Larry; two granddaughters, Madison and Abby Snodderley; one brother, Ron Madden; two sisters, Pam Murphy and Patty Ketz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at Harper Chapel United Methodist Church in Osage Beach. Chaplain Scott Ehrlich and Pastor Jim Dace will officiate. Interment with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
