Paul Stewart, age 51, of Brumley, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at his home. He was born in Carmi, Illinois on August 10, 1955, a son of the late Billy Ray and Hazel Louise (Clark) Stewart. On July 26, 2005 at the Lake County Courthouse in Crown Point, Indiana, he was married to Joyce Marie Reinhold, who survives at the home.
Paul was a member of the Shriners, Iberia Masonic Lodge 410 AF and AM, Grotto's, William Farr Lodge of Girard, Ohio and the Iberia Lions Club. He was also president of the Rock Town Riders.
Others who survive him include: two sons, Paul Ray Stewart, Jr. and wife Trish of Ohio and Jimmy Stewart of Pennsylvania; three daughters, Marcie Hull and husband Garin of Pennsylvania, Michelle Kelly of Pennsylvania and Deana Brenner and husband David of Ohio; 17 grandchildren; four step-children, Kevin Drummond and wife Becky of Indiana, David Drummond of Arizona, Heather Collazo and husband Augustine of Florida and Jessica Schonert of Brumley; two brothers, Wayne Cary and Dickie Key both of Ohio and one sister, Juanita Fries of South Carolina.
Two granddaughters also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, with a masonic service at 6:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. A service will be held immediately following the masonic service. Pastor Dan Duckworth will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Paul Stewart Memorial Fund.
