Obituary
Paula S. (VanHooser) Martin, age 52, of Eldon, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Lake Regional Hospital. She was born in Tuscumbia on March 4, 1955, a daughter of the late Doral and Beulah Mae (Anderson) VanHooser. On December 5, 1982, in Tuscumbia, she was married to John Martin, who survives at the home.
She was a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church in Eldon.
Others who survive her include: one daughter, Rachel Welch and husband Robert of Eldon, one step-daughter, Patricia Wilson and husband Charles of Gatesville, Texas; three grandchildren, Fredric Welch, Kimberly Welch and Heidi McCarley and three brothers, Les VanHooser, Darrell VanHooser and Donald Horn.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Pastor Don Brown will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Paula Martin Memorial Fund.
