Peggy Eads, age 64, of Brumley, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.  She was born in Iberia on August 24, 1958, daughter of the late Cecil and Alice (Witt) Plemmons.  On August 28, 1975, in Brumley, Peggy was united in marriage to Michael Wayne Eads, who preceded her in death on September 17, 1997.  In October of 2018, Peggy was united in marriage to Gary Whittle, who survives at their home.

Peggy was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her garden. She attended Brumley Christian Church.  Peggy loved her family unconditionally, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Gary Whittle, she is also survived by her daughter, Mandy (Jason) Witt; son, Shannon (Asami) Eads; five grandchildren, Tyler Witt, Zachary Witt, Miko Eads, Ken Eads, and Hana Eads; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Witt, Waylon Witt, and Mackenzie Witt; two stepsons, Brandon (Susie) Whittle and Brent Whittle; siblings, Darlene (Danny) Rowden, Vicky (Randy) Prater, Eric (Theresa) Plemmons, Dan (Janice) Plemmons, Doris Jeffries, Rita (David) VanDyke, and Marie Plemmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dwayne Plemmons, Kerry Plemmons, and Darryl Plemmons.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., with a closing prayer at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.   Inurnment will be held at a later date.
