Phillip David Meredith, age 55, of Brumley, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012, at his home. He was born in Tuscumbia on September 13, 1957, son of Paul and Thelma (Wall) Meredith. On February 23, 1980, in Lake Ozark, Phillip married Ramona Lynn Miller, who survives at their home.

Phillip was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ.

He is also survived by two daughters, Tara Higbie and husband Jeremy and Amber Poire and husband Nathan both of Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Olivia Higbie, Zoe Higbie, Piper Higbie, and Chandler Poire; his parents, Paul and Thelma Meredith; two sisters, Paula Meredith of Jefferson City and Terry Pahlmann and husband Jeff of Iberia; and one brother, Steve Meredith and wife Colleen of Jefferson City.

Visitation will be from 12 (noon) to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Sunday, September, 23, 2012, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Minister Robert Dover, Rev. Jeff Higbie, and Bro. Lee Todd will officiate. Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley.
