Phillip "Wally" Plemmons, age 61, of Iberia, passed away on March 14, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Iberia, on January 14, 1961, son of the late Wilbert "Webb" and Marjorie (Graham) Plemmons.

Phillip was a proud Republican and an avid conservative American, who loved his country.  He was employed as a truck driver for 25 years and worked several other jobs throughout his life.

He is survived by two brothers, Wilbert "Dub" Plemmons and James Plemmons and wife Dolores; three sisters, Sue Fancher and husband Gary, Patty Keeth and husband Doug, and Pennie Plemmons; sister-in-law, Patsy Plemmons; brother-in-law, Donny Whittle; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Micheal Plemmons and Richard Plemmons, sister, Luan Whittle; and his canine companion, Chewy.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley with Paul Colvin officiating.
