Phyllis Ilene McKinnon, age 70, of Brumley, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Miller County on December 27, 1949, daughter of the late Truman Denver and Leslie (Snelling) Bilyeu. On June 4, 1965, in Bagnell Dam, Ilene married Kenneth McKinnon, who survives at their home.

Ilene was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Kaiser.

In addition to her husband, Kenny McKinnon, she is also survived by one daughter, Lisa McKinnon (Charles Cochran) of Brumley; one son, Cliff McKinnon (Mandy) of Brumley; five grandchildren, Logan Stone, Lindsey Byrd (Jordan), Maycee McKinnon (Kyle), Jeremiah McKinnon, and Denver McKinnon (Hailey); five great-grandchildren, Keetyn Evans, Micah Evans, Hestynn Byrd, Hollynd Byrd, and Tinleigh Brock; one sister, Alma Byrd (Ralph); one niece Angie Galligher (Will); and three nephews, Kevin Jungemeyer, Doug Byrd and Andy Byrd.

She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Aadison Brooke Stone and one brother, Cliff Bilyeu.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020, at New Hope Cemetery in Kaiser with Jeff DeLong officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to New Hope Church.
