Possie Baker, age 54, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at her home. She was born in Crocker on April 1, 1959, daughter of the late Norman and Faye Duncan. On July 5, 1999, in Belton, Possie married Darrell Baker, who survives at the home.
Possie attended Mt. Gilead Church near Iberia.
She is also survived by two children, Charlie Bond of Belle and Jessica Hamilton and husband Jimmy of Iberia; three step-children, Darrell Baker of Kansas City, Jessy Baker of Iberia, and Misty Baker of Kansas City; one goddaughter, Kylee Ash of Iberia; eight grandchildren, Autumn Bond-Brown, Jordan Barnett, Josh Hamilton, Jasmine Hamilton, Rayn Russell, Nevaeh Duncan, Rayden Duncan, and Bubby Duncan all of Iberia; three sisters, Susan Overton, Annie Carroll, and Rita Shuler and husband David; two brothers, Jeff Duncan and wife Kim and Doug Duncan and wife Lana; one uncle, Charles Morrow; two aunts, Delphi Sons and Brooksy Sons; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Duncan and Donald Duncan; and two grandchildren, Chance Bond and Chase Bond.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., with services immediately following at 7 p.m., on Friday, October 4, 2013, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Elton Dake will officiate.
