Ramona E. McKinnon, 83, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Iberia, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 in Winter Park, Florida. She was born in Iberia on December 24, 1926, daughter of the late William Roy and Gertrude Edith (Carroll) Irwin. In October of 1948, in Olathe, Kansas, Ramona married Clyde "Mac" McKinnon, who survives at the home.
Ramona spent her childhood in Iberia and attended schools in and around Iberia before moving to Jefferson City and eventually calling Kansas City home.
She is also survived by two daughters, Linda L. Puryea (Joseph) and Susan M. Dunworth (Thomas) all of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Tommy Dunworth and Joshua Dunworth; one sister, Barbara Struemph (Bernard) of Kansas City, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Weldon "Bud" and Marvin, and one sister, Capitola Rehagen (Lawrence).
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery near Crocker.
