Obituary

Randall "Randy" Armin Hoffmann, age 74, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home.  He was born on September 30, 1950, son of the late Armin and Daphene (Hickerson) Hoffmann.  On May 27, 1972, Randy was united in marriage to Gladys Torres, who survives at their home.

As a teacher of various subjects and past middle school principal for over 30 years, Randy fostered an environment of growth and learning, always encouraging his students to strive for excellence. In addition to teaching, he was also a pastor for over 40 years.  His commitment to his faith and his congregation was unwavering, and he touched many lives with his kindness and wisdom.

Randy took an active role in the organizations that he belonged to. He served as treasurer of the Iberia Friendship Hall, treasurer for the Missouri Teacher Retirement Association, worked as the assistant administrator for Lake Ozark Children's Home, and past president of T.O.P.S.  He took pleasure in gardening, playing chess and dominos.

In addition to his loving wife, Gladys Hoffmann, he is also survived by five children, Angie (Allen) Adair, Josie (Jason) Russell, Quentin (Nicole) Hoffmann, Tonya (Robert) Frazier, and Donnie (Sarah) Hoffmann; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Hoffmann; niece, Tressa Scott; aunt, Betty Schranz; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armin and Daphene Hoffmann and niece, Mandy Hoffmann.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Wednesday, March 26, at Iberia First Assembly of God Church with Chip Sanders and Brian Walters officiating.  Interment will be held in Iberia Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Randy Hoffmann Memorial Fund.  Donations may be mailed to Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home, P.O. Box 206, Iberia, MO 65486.
