Obituary

Randy H. Cole, age 76 years and 4 days, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, on December 6, 1938, son of the late Roy and Daisey Cole. On July 18, 1986, in Iberia, Randy married Sue Clark Prather, who survives at the home.

Randy served in the United State Air Force for 7 years. After his service he worked as a civil service medical supply officer for 31 years. After his retirement he was employed with the Iberia R-V school district as a bus driver for 13 years.

He was a member of the Iberia Masonic Lodge 410 AF&AM, Abou Ben Adhem, Shrine Temple in Springfield, Past Rajah of Pulaski County, Ft. Wood Shrine Club, Valley of Columbia Scottish Rite, and Iberia Order of Eastern Star #537. He was also a member of Brays Advent Christian Church near Iberia and the Iberia Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, Sue, he is also survived by six children, Donna Underwood and husband Michael of Leeton, Carrie Fritchey and husband Larry of Iberia, Lisa Kremer and husband Gary of Jefferson City, Todd Cole of Jefferson City, Randy Cole Jr. and wife Amy of Alabama, and Karla Williams and husband Allen of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Cole of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Clara Mikulski and Sandy Sparich both of Weatherly, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carolyn DeVore and husband Bud of Iberia, and several nieces, nephews, and special family and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Brian Duncan will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, December 12, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
