Randy Libbert, age 64, of Meta, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.  He was born in Vienna on November 3, 1956, son of Wilfred and Rose (Hake) Libbert.  On February 18, 1977, in St. Anthony, Randy was united in marriage to Debbie Ewers, who survives at their home.

Randy was employed with Diamond Dog Food for over 25 years.  Following his employment with the factory he helped his dad Wilfred on the family farm.  Randy was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta.

In addition to his wife, Debbie Libbert, he is also survived by two sons, Nathan (Amanda) Libbert of Freeburg and Brandon (Sue Engelage) Libbert; three grandchildren Norah Libbert, Nick Libbert, and Navy Libbert with one grandchild on the way; mother, Rose Libbert of Meta; sister, Sharon Hammann of Meta; six brothers, Larry (Helen) Libbert of Bonnots Mill, Kenneth (Sandra) Libbert of Iberia, Daniel (Darlene) Libbert of St. Thomas, Ronald (Debbie) Libbert of Meta, Leon (Debbie) Libbert of Meta, and Kevin (Kristy) Libbert of Meta; mother-in-law, Patsy Ewers; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Nicky Libbert; father, Wilfred Libbert; father-in-law, John Ewers; nephew, Corey Libbert; and brother-in-law, Don Hammann.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., prayers at 3 p.m., on Friday, August 13, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta.  Inurnment will be held in St. Cecilia Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Education Fund of Randy's grandchildren.
