Randy Lee Lock, age 52, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Truman VA Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Jefferson City on April 27, 1959, son of the late Cornelius August and Bernita Elizabeth (Redel) Lock. On October 7, 1989, in Wooldridge, Randy married Rhonda Kay Kesler, who survives at the home.
He served his country in the United States Army for 18 years while he was stationed in Germany. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason of the Blue Lodge. Randy was a member of the Shriners, the Disabled American Veterans, and of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown.
He is also survived by one son, Shawn Lock of Lupus; one daughter, Jennifer Flores of Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Anthony Lock, Briyanna Flores, Cameron Flores, and Deztiney Flores; two sisters, Rebecca Howard and husband Nelson of Russelville and Pamela Zika and husband Mike of Koeltztown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one niece, Rachel Howard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown. Msgr. Marion Makarewicz will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in Koeltztown.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alph A1 Antitrypsn Foundation.
