Obituary

Randy Joe Pendleton, age 44, of Stover, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at his home. He was born in Granite City, Illinois, on May 1, 1961, a son of Myrl and Bonnie (Dake) Pendleton. His parents survive in Iberia. On February 24, 2001, in Dixon, he was married to Kelly Lynn (Langley) Buckmaster, who survives at the home.

He owned and operated Pendleton and Sons Construction for many years. He was a member of the Dixon Church of Christ.

Other survivors include: four sons, Nicholas Pendleton of Olean and Curtis Pendleton, Kelly Ray Pendleton, and Brandon Pendleton all of Jefferson City; two stepsons, John Buckmaster and Keith Buckmaster both of Fairplay; one stepdaughter, Casey Fields of Versailles; one brother, Alan Pendleton of Iberia; one sister, Sherry Thompson of Iberia; and three granddaughters.

A sister, Janice Murray, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 27, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Rick Pitchford will officiate. Private interment will be at Alder Springs Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
