Ray Lee Bean, age 79, of Brumley, died Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born in Crocker on November 28, 1926, a son of the late William and Mary A. (Martin) Bean. On September 20, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas, he was married to Mildred Marie Bond, who survives at the home.
Ray was a member of Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church.
Others who survive him include: one granddaughter, Natalie Snyder of Brumley.
One sister, Goldie Keeth and one daughter, Glenda Summers also preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, at Boltz Cemetery near Brumley. Pastor Brian Jarrett will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
