Raymond "Ray" Stark, age 89, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  He was born in Miller County on August 31, 1931, son of the late Jessie and Emma (Cross) Stark.  On June 9, 1955, in Tuscumbia, Raymond was united in marriage to Marjorie Sue Rodden, who survives at their home.

Raymond was employed as a janitor for Miller County R-III and retired at the age of 82 from Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors cutting grass and working on the farm.  Raymond was a faithful member of the Assembly of God Church in Tuscumbia.

In addition to his loving wife, he is also survived by five children, Richard (Mary) Stark, Roger (Beth) Stark, Mike (Beverly) Stark, Rhonda (Albert) Chapman, and Susan (Keven) Ash; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Littleton; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brian Duncan, great-grandchild, Serenity Acs; and siblings, Otto, Tracy, Maudie, Johnnie, Myrtle, and Hadley.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Rob Zahnter and Timothy Drake officiating.  Interment will be held in Rodden Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., on Friday, August 6, at the funeral home.
