Reba Faye Sanning, age 82, of Iberia, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Iberia on November 19, 1925, daughter of Willard and Eula Fern (Moneymaker) Cochran. On June 7, 1945, in Brumley, she was married to Elbert L. Harrison, who preceded her in death on September 29, 1967. On November 11, 1978, in Crocker, she was married to Theodore J. "Ted" Sanning, who died as a result of the same accident.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a member of Goodwill Church near Crocker.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Lee and husband Lawrence of Lake Ozark, and Doris Webster and husband Steven of Springfield; three stepchildren; four grandchildren, Steven Lee, Kevin Lee, Jennifer Webster, and Amanda Wilson; five step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Cochran of Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. J. R. McGuire will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
