Rhonda Chyril Huhmann, age 55, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at University of Missouri Hospital. She was born in Iberia on June 29, 1950, a daughter of Arthur W. and Inez Myree (Farrow) Hodge.
She drove a school bus for Durham School Services in Jefferson City transporting handicapped children to school and worked at the Jefferson City Salvation Army Thrift Store two days a week. For the past three years, she has worked for the Cole County Head Start as a bus driver. She attended St. Elizabeth First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Inez Hodge of St. Elizabeth; six brothers, Gerald Hodge of Iberia, Stanley Hodge of Iberia, Bill Hodge of St. Elizabeth, Carl Hodge of Kaiser, Roy Hodge of Culp Creek, Oregon, and Paul Hodge of St. Elizabeth; her goddaughter, Jessica; and several nieces and nephews.
Her father; one brother, Carles "Hank" Hodge, one sister, Marla "Josie" Hodge, and her son, Murdock Roads, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Dake Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
