Obituary
Robert Dean Downey, Jr., age 45, of Lake Ozark, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in Morgan County. He was born in Beardstown, Illinois, on September 11, 1961, a son of Robert Dean, Sr. and Pansy (Floyd) Downey.
Those who survive him include: one daughter, Kimberly Downey of Winchester, Illinois; one son, Logan Downey of Chapin, Illinois; his father, Robert Downey, Sr. and wife Alberta of Chambersburg, Illinois; three sisters, Connie Downey of Jacksonville, Illinois, Cheryl Chavez of Bluffs, Illinois and Carol White of Springfield, Illinois; one half-sister, Deanna Warbonnett of Jacksonville, Illinois and one half-brother, Luke Summers of Chambersburg, Illinois.
His mother and half-brother, Jay Summers, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, at the Christian Church in Chambersburg, Illinois.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
